IN THE CELLAR Fermentation: In stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with a maceration on the skins of over 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in oak.
Aging: In large Slavonian and French oak barrels of 30 hl for 24 months.
Bottling: Upon a passage in stainless steel tanks, it is bottled without filtration. It is aged in bottle at least 12 months.
Release: 4 years after harvesting

TASTING NOTES Intense garnet red with brick hue. On the nose, it opens with aromas suggesting underbrush, chopped sage, wild berry and a whiff of leather. On the full-bodied and clean palate, notes of cinnamon and licorice add depth to dark cherry and fresh raspberry. The tannins are fine and silky. The good acidity contributes to a great aging potential. A Barolo in which the characteristic of Nebbiolo grapes are expressed in their most delicate and elegant version.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS Perfect with game and red meats. Superb with dishes garnished with white truffle of Alba. Excellent with mature hard cheeses.


EVOLUTION Wine of incredible longevity. If properly stored, it matures slowly and steadily in the bottle, expressing his magnitude even after 20-plus years.
